Recovery from major dam breach.
Major dam failure on the Tittabawassee River caused catastrophic flooding in Midland and national headlines. The governor quickly appealed to the federal government for help, which allowed After the Storm to bring much needed disaster case management to the region. Community partners included: United Way of Midland County, Midland Area and Saginaw Community Foundations, Mid Michigan Community Action Agency, Habitat for Humanity, Dow Chemical, and Home to Stay.
